L.A. Is in Flames, It’s Getting Hot

Hello my beautiful people,

As you’ve probably seen, Los Angeles has been experiencing some of the most devastating fires in its history. Many of my friends have lost their homes, irreplaceable sentimental items, and so much more. It’s heartbreaking to witness, and while I don’t fully understand why this is happening, I do know one thing for certain: the power of prayer is real. I’d like to take a moment to offer a prayer for the city of Los Angeles, as well as for the brave firefighters and first responders who are risking their lives to protect others. 

Heavenly Father,

We’re coming to You with so much on our hearts right now. Los Angeles is hurting, and these fires are causing so much pain and loss. Lord, we’re asking for Your help. Please step in and stop these flames. Send rain, calm the winds, and protect everyone who’s been affected.

We lift up the firefighters and first responders who are out there risking everything. Give them supernatural energy and strength to keep going. Wrap them in Your protection and guide their every move so they can do their jobs safely and save lives.

As the city starts to rebuild, I pray it becomes something even more beautiful, honoring You in every way. Bring people together with love and kindness, and let this be a fresh start full of hope and purpose.

God, I know You’ve got us, even when things feel so heavy. Thank You for the reminder that life is precious, and there’s so much to be grateful for every single day. We’re trusting You with all of this.

Please, hug your loved ones a little tighter today. Let’s live each day with love, compassion, and gratitude for the incredible gift of life. Even in the midst of challenges, there is so much to be thankful for.
