Never Stop Promoting Your Art

Hello my loves,

I feel like I’ve been running around nonstop lately and have so missed writing here. So I’m making a little promise to myself and to you reading this that I’ll be posting every single week. Because let’s be real...social media might disappear one day, but lilykincade.com is forever, babyyy!!! Also, I feel like Carrie Bradshaw every time I open my laptop to write. I love it!!!

A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated the fourth birthday of my song “Real.” Actually, it’s our song because I truly wouldn’t be here without you. It blows my mind that it’s already been four years since it came out. “Real” will always hold such a special place in my heart, and I know I’ll be singing it at every show for the rest of my life. Honestly? I can’t think of a more perfect forever song. I mean… REAL love?! Between me and you? Always.

I wanted to write this to hopefully reach someone who might be struggling to believe in themselves.

Your art doesn’t expire. Trust that. And know that you’re not too late. The world needs timeless, honest, authentic work. Art that feels real (no pun intended). So don’t be afraid to keep sharing your creations, even years after you first made them. If it still means something to you, there’s a good chance it’ll mean something to someone else too.

“Real” has continued to grow over the past four years, and it’s only just getting started. Thank you for reminding me of that. And yes, we’re going BIG for the fifth birthday next year.
